However there may be a solution with a "simple" firmware change - refer to option 2 below. But I don't really mind as I think Blackmagic Design are a wonderful company and I love to support all Australian companies especially a local Melbourne one! I am a little bit disappointed in myself that I didn't read the ATEM Mini Pro ISO manual before I purchases the product to realise that the USB port can't handle both writing files and acting as a WebCam at the same time. also I really need the multiview capability during my sessions as I am juggling many different things including green screens and overlays and different cameras, and I have to be across everything to keep the high professional standards that I am aspiring to. I bought the ATEM Mini Pro ISO specifically to manage multiple cameras and to be able record the program and the isolated feeds, whilst using Zoom. My post is really focusing on the existing model with the single USB port and single HDMI output port, and I think with a firmware change there might be a solution.īut first I'm not keen to spend another few hundred dollars to get a capture card for my computer, although I may be swayed later. Yes I have read many posts where people wish there was an additional USB port and/or an additional HDMI output port.
